The Adult Beginners Sewing Class welcomes students from 16 yo+ who are getting started with their sewing journey, as well as students with some experience looking to review the fundamentals, gain confidence, improve their skills or wanting some help with a project.

Our supportive and hands-on classes are the perfect place to create and connect!

What you'll learn:

• If you are an absolute beginner, welcome to the wonderful cradt of sewing! In this class, you will learn everything you need to get started, such a using a sewing machine and fundamental techniques. You will  build your skills and gain confidence to move onto new challenges. 

• If you have some sewing experience and would like to gain confidence, this class is also for you. These 5 sessions will empower you to tackle bigger project with confidence and perhaps start making that dress or jacket you've been dreaming of? Bring fabric of your choice and a project if you have one in mind or wish to finish one you've started at your beginners class.

What to bring:

• Sewing machines and other tools are available at the studio for students to use during the class. A beginner sewing kit is available for purchase at the studio. If you own a sewing machine, you are welcome to bring it and learn how to use it.

• Everything is provided for your first project. Once finished, we'll chose something you'd like to make for yourself: you must then bring your choice of fabric + notions to move onto a more challenging project from the 2nd or 3rd class (to be discussed with your tutor).

Fee: $280 + fabric for your second project. All fees are payable at the time of registration. Enrolments are confirmed upon receipt of payment.
