STEM Sewing Classes for Children (Ages 8+)
Perfect for beginners and with small classes, personalised attention and guidance is given to each child. They build confidence, focus and independence at their own pace.
Our STEM kids sewing classes in Howick combine creativity with practical learning, helping children develop valuable skills in science, technology, engineering and maths — through sewing.
Our experienced tutors encourage curiosity and creativity, turning every project into a fun learning experience.
What Children Will Do
Learn how to use a sewing machine (technology skills)
Measuring, cutting, and spatial awareness (maths skills)
Pattern understanding and construction (engineering concepts)
Explore concepts such as creative design and problem-solving (STEM thinking)
Projects may include tote bags, cushions, and beginner garments—designed to reinforce both sewing techniques and STEM learning outcomes.
